Tara is a dually qualified speech pathologist and teacher who began Speech and Language Hive with a passion for quality services, focussing on assessing and providing intervention for speech, language and literacy.
Tara has over 9 years of experience working with children in rural and metropolitan schools. She is aware of the complexities children face in these settings and aims to use a multi-disciplinary approach to meet outcomes for every client.
Tara has worked as a certified practising speech pathologist in the disability sector and private practice, developing skills working across speech, language, literacy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) on associated individualised communication goals.
Tara has a passion for delivering best practice literacy interventions using multi-sensory approaches and continually undertakes additional professional development in all areas of speech pathology practice.

**Initial Consult - Initial assessments are often completed over more than one appointment and are billed at the same rate as therapy sessions.
**Written Reports (based on client needs – hourly fee charged as same rate as session) .
Cancellation Fee
Billed as consult fee if cancellation is less than 48 hours.
Travel
Travel will be charged as per the current rate of NDIS travel.
This will be discussed prior to the first appointment.
**Private paying clients - Travel charges will be discussed with each client and will be charged based on time travelled by the therapist.**
